Add-on Cross-Site Forum Node Syncing

    Any of you guys remember back in the day when BBS's were popular? I used to code a bit for WWIV BBS software (games and mods mostly)

    They had a feature that would allow you to network with other BBS's and share a common forum posts.
    for example Classified Ads/For sale.

    At certain frequency the site would sync up and download new posts, and upload new posts.

    You could see a master list of all allowed forums to subscribe too. Kinda like taking a RSS feed and adding the posts directly.

    Yes you can do that...the other forum has to have it installed too.

    Incorrect, Multisite uses one database only. They would need to merge to one database
