Lol I do understand, all those theories you've mentioned. But it says "user last seen Engaged in Conversation 1 minute ago" etc...

Yes, the profile settings bug will surely be fixed at some point, hopefully. :)
 
Updated this add-on and all my List Alert settings have been changed to default settings again. Please fix this asap Along with the bug I posted above.

You do realise that this is a FREE add-on that ******* is distributing, and that people flooding him with nonsense in an attempt to get his attention is only going to hinder progress, not help it. I wouldn't answer you either if you're sending me PM's about issues versus awaiting until I got time to respond here.

Contrary to your belief, developers have lives in which they go away for days, weeks even, to holiday or just enjoy life outside of things they do for FREE. Sorry, but you're giving me the impression of a needy whiner.

Not being rude, but I think you should mind your own business, because I have already told him, I'm looking to purchase this add-on and he is aware of this. Not only to support it, but also to show appreciation.

Like today, he updated it, he could have at least posted a message, saying "I'll reply to everyones questions soon as I can and will continue to fix new bugs". It's also good practice/customer service.. It doesn't matter then even if the dev takes weeks or even a month or so till the next update, at least we know he is listening.

Let's stick to the topic please… But, cool story.. (y)
 
I want a feature that give credits based on time that users spend in you site ...example: for every hour that you spend in my forum, you have 1 credit.

Are you planning to create a shop addon that can work with credits?
 
Can anyone else confirm the same bug causing members to not be able to change time zone will also not allow them to also change preferences.
 
Hey, I have been looking to give members a way to buy their way into a forum group with this credits add-on, but i'm not sure if that would require me to add something else that hooks into this mod. Would i need to find another add-on to work along side this forum modification to get something like that going?

I use Ice Shop add-on. Credits system doesn't recognize the purchase and so when you visit "most spent" via the Credits add-on you will not see who has spent the most. If that isn't an issue for you, then Ice Shop add-on works nicely for now. It can be set for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly memberships if I remember correctly... I haven't waited to see if it automatically unsets the usergroup, but I assume it does.

Sorry. I scanned the pages. I'm trying to figure out how to tie Sportsbook and Credits together.

How do I get Sportsbook to use the credits? Specifically which xf_user_table is input into Use Other Cash/Points Field? I only have the defaults set for credits and Sportsbook.

Is it xf_credits_action? or a different one?

Update: I put in "credits" as this appears to be the field within the user table.

I want to use this add-on for my class forum. I want to base the student's grades on how active they are on the forums. However, how do you identify and prevent students from posting useless information and spam just so they can increase their points?
 
I have an idea. I want to put my students in teams, just like as if they were in a business team starting a business. There will be an investor, entrepreneur, marketer/sales, logistics, accounting, etc. Each investor will be giving 1000 currency points. They will need to decide how much to pay each employee and how to award or punish (give or take points) based on performance. Each employee can use their points to award or punish service providers in the team or from other teams in the class. When people are active on the forums they also earn points. Does this sound possible using any of the current add-ons? Dustin
