Ok so I installed Xenforo into /forum on my webpage. So when I want to access the forums I type www.example.com/forum.

My problem is that when I type www.example.com I am directed to an external webpage that I created outside of Xenforo.

How am I able to create a page within Xenforo and make it my homepage. Below image is what I want to achieve. While still haveing my main forums at www.example.com/forum

I used to use a Page node as my landing page.

You can use the Index Page Route function in the ACP to set the landing page.

Unless you have a reason for having XenForo installed in a directory, I would suggest moving it to the root.

Its installed in public_html/forum. Would it be as simple as moving all content from forum to public_html (the root) via drag and drop of FTP?

The FAQ in my signature lists the steps required but yes, it's very easy.
