Yeah me too, please help, i can't login to forum and admincp with this error !!!!!!

omg? In my website everything is working perfect, and the addon are working perfect, the error above has been a punctual error, I just don't know why has been generated, but the addon and everything are working normally.
If you have no access to the acp you can use $config['enableListeners'] = false; in config.php

You did not set the data/countryflags folder to writable as instructed in the README.txt file.

2) Change the permissions for the data/countryflags folder to world writable (777).

Do that and run the Tools/Cron Entries/Update GeoIP Database task manually from the admin area.

Same with you, you did not set the data/countryflags folder to writable.

After you do that, remove the line from your config.php file.

Thanks, yes, my data/countryflags folder have 777 permissions since the first day.

Everything is working perfect, I just don't know why that error has been generated today, after many days working perfect. only once. weird.
running Tools/Cron Entries/Update GeoIP Database everything looks normal:

The cron task runs once a month on the 15th of the month.

Normally there shouldn't be any problems, but for whatever reason it was unable to write to the data/countryflags folder.

I actually see something that might cause the database file to be removed in the cron task. I'll release an update tomorrow.

if possible, (and if you want) add the Tooltip property in the templates.
Actually I already have all my templates with the XF Tooltip and looks very nice.
Just would be great avoid lose the changes and have to edit the templates again, anyway is very easy

I already said I'd do it, but I wouldn't do it just for a cosmetic change. Since there is more to the next update, it will be done with that.

• Fix - Possibility of GeoIP country database being deleted when a connection to MaxMind fails
• Change - Hovering over country flag now shows as a tooltip

Me too since yesterday! Site broken, nobody can log-in....wasted only Seven hours of my life yesterday and today.
Brogan helped me narrow down to this add-on.

GREAT, because this really is an excellent add-on!

So, I needed to upload data files, and library files. (SNOG folders)

But, I already had a "Snog" folder there of course with same name as what I am trying to upload.

So, I deleted them.

Then, uploaded the new Snog folders into correct places. (Cannot have Two folders with same names of course)

Now, cannot install the update, cannot uninstall the add-on, cannot use the add-on.

3) Import the addon-Snog_CountryFlags.xml file.
4) Go to Home->Options->Country Flags and set the settings the way you want them.

Library should be..

library/Snog/CountryFlags

Data folder should be
data/countryflags

If you upload the 'contents' of the upload folder, those folders should be created automatically by your FTP program.

Dude, Why do you have so many un-necessary folders in you zip file.?

Totally not necessary to have the Folder called Snog. Delete that, and just have only what is necessary please!

More wasted time....LOL

That is the standard XF add-on folder structure..

library - The XF library folder
Snog - The add-on author
CountryFlags - The add-on itself

Look at any add-on and that is how the folder structure goes.
