I've been reading up on HTML5 and its futuristic technologies and web sockets seem to be an efficient way of sending and receiving data, useful for something like a chat add-on.
It seems they could be an efficient alternative to HTTP/AJAX requests... is it something that's being considered?
I didn't post in any XF forums because it's more a what-if scenario.
