so have use tinypng.com plugin on my wp site and it optimizes images and reduces the size by 70% i think this would help a lot reduce disk space and loading time.

hey, sorry was looking for a quick solution so I just discovered theme house addon that optimizes the images ... also i just moved my images to digital ocean storage.. thanks though!!

However, I figured out that tinypng would work on shared hosting since it doesn't not require any modules as the image optimizer from themefhouse
