XF 2.1 copyright text

I have boguht the version where copyright is removed from Xenforo but now I want my own text in there where it said Xenforo (c) bla blah blah...

How can I edit this last line there?

This will depend on your style but as a starting point try:

AdminCP >> Appearance >> Style properties >> Footer

or AdminCP >> Appearance >> Templates and use "footer" as the filter term.

There's a special phrase for this.

Just edit the extra_copyright phrase and put the text that you want in there.

That's good, but I get an extra blank line if I put it there.. now the footer is only 1 line with the contact us etc. links so I just want the copyright thing there to be on the same line.

Do you know how to do that?

That's just where that phrase is. Which is essentially where the XF copyright message would be if you still had it.

If you want to put it somewhere else, you would have to edit the template and put it where you want it.

hmm, I don't really understand.. isn't there a easy way just to put in "(c) XXXXXX - 2009 -2019 same without a line break? I see it is possible to use HTML there but I can't find a way to remove that line break.

There isn't a line break, that's just where the HTML is.

I think it must be the template I'm using then, because when I put in the text in the "extra_copyright" then on the forum in the footer it does a line break and put the text under the current links rather than center them on the left of the links.

There is no line break. The HTML is physically and deliberately placed below the current links, where the copyright message is on this forum.

As I said, if you want to display the text somewhere else, you will need to edit the relevant template (probably PAGE_CONTAINER) to place it where you want it rather than the default location.
