XF 2.1 Copy/Pasting w/ css intact between threads

When we updated to 2.1, my users reported an issue where they couldn't keep the format of a thread when making new threads. ie- they wanted the styling/colors/textsize of one thread they made to be easily copy/paste to a new thread they made on the forums. They were able to do that in the 2.0 versions, but not now. Is there a bug, or is there something in styling I haven't enabled to allow this?

Certain formatting is now stripped out when copying and pasting content.

I'm hoping newer versions will be able to have it again, or an option to enable/disable. I'll find some other ways to accommodate if it's not doable.
