XF 1.1 [convert]failure to import images (vb4xx to XF)

Hello,
I'm trying to migrate my forum "vb4" in "XF"

Attachments or avatars are being stored in the file system. Please confirm the path to these.
Attachments Directory:
./fichiers/images/joints
Custom Avatar Directory:
./customavatars

this is what I get

Error

• The attachments directory could not be found.
• The avatars directory could not be found.

Do I need to create files in the directory of "XF" ?

Using "../" isn't always the fix. You need the correct path. There are relative paths and full paths. This thread has a good explanation:

I personally like to use full paths so there is no question.

I tried all possible combinations that did not work for me.
I fell on the wire I did not know we could add a "."
Otherwise imports it is conducted. I just have to configure the htaccess

In my case, only the add the "." was good

by cons I have put the images folder "signaturepics" to the site root
