One thing vB5 has going for it ... it is so slow ... I can't even bother to do a wee bit trolling.
vB5 has taken so long ... I was wondering if they totally learned their lessons with the lame duck vB4 release. I figured they were going to release something ultra fast and ultra good. Instead they do the opposite .. release the worst beta ever .... tried to fix it to make is almost deployable ... and pretend it's a stable release.
It's so bad, it's like they don't care.
It's also so bad it is not satisfying to criticize it ... I don't mind taking some shots at someone who can handle it ... but I don't like picking on the kid who gets off the short bus.
I disagree, it is very satisfying to criticize it and I will tell you why.
Lets assume it was a free product that a bunch of people decided to release - no problem, they released what they made (for free) and if people are not happy with it then they simply don't use it. It is the thought that counts. It is comparable to an old aunty of yours giving you a Justin Bieber t-shirt for Christmas. You will never use it, but she has a big smile on her face and is excited to give it to you. It is the thought that counts. So you give her a kiss on the cheek, say thank you and enjoy the rest of the day.
However, if you purchase a t-shirt from a store that specialises in selling premium, high quality t-shirts which are apparently the most comfortable and best t-shirts in the world and they give you a greasy, smelly rag instead, I am guessing you are not going to be too happy. This store also claims it is the best in the world and not only charges you a lot of money for it, but then some. You get this smelly rag delivered to your house (by the way, you also paid $349 for this rag, but you were expecting the best t-shirt in the world) and it then proceeds to stink the house out.
If they are going to stick a huge price tag onto it, sue a competitor, and release this smelly rag and call it the best t-shirt in the world (lying the the customers and potential customers) I am not going to be too ****ing pleased about it. It is there to ridicule because it deserves it. I would ridicule it on their site, but I am sick and tired of the load times.
If they have the nerve to call their software "forum software" then hey, who gives a crap about the language? This may be fun. Let's try it.
