XF 2.1 Color formatting gone when copying post

When I copy a post content from thread into a new post editor, almost all of formatting is preserved except the color. Is this some TinyMCE bug (or by design) or it is configurable?
It was working some time ago but now it seems that "feature" is gone

The editor in XF2 is Froala, not TinyMCE.

Some of the formatting is stripped due to undesirable results.

Ah, right.
Is it possible to prevent stripping it? We have lots of post templates and when copy it into editor, we need to tweak it everytime which is quite annoying.
I know that BBCode can be copied, but not every "template" post is editable to peek the bb code.

There are no configurable options related to it - it's done in code.
