CMS Alternatives - Will you wait? What others use?

I have not heard anymore. However:

actually, Brian posted yesterday on his site saying that it won't be until the end of this year at the earliest for XenAdvanced/Dynamics.

My old Forum was on SMF+Wordpress. Normaly the traffic was 10% WP and 90% SMF, means the most action is in the forum.
For that you have to manage two kinds of software, the Forum and WP. (sometimes you got trouble if you are on a low cost shared server)

So my plan was to integrate articles and forum on one place, wich makes a big difference to the users, who often get lost in the overkill of information on a website - especially when there is a Blog, CMS, Album etc.

For now I am using only XF for the articles, just normal posts in a special thread where I am the only one who can write in. members and guests are only allowed to read.
Discussions are in another thread. And this works fantastic, I can tell you.
To publish these articles I use Jaxons Portal, wich works fine. Some finetuning and this is a great addon.

At the moment I publish some specialcontent on a Blog, but I am thinking about to cancel this and do it like the articles.
Content is important, but the content has to be where your users are - in the forum.

Building a custom solution inside xen. So done with managing multiple systems.

I am using WP as well for CMS. I do think this combo gives you the best of both worlds but you pay with duplication of content in some cases.
