My understanding is the addons need to be compatible with xenForo, not that xenForo has to be compatible with addons. The version you buy with the cloud is compatible with this addons
Compatible XF Versions: 2.0, 2.1
Thank you for the information you gave me. Can dragonbyte addons be installed in the cloud without violating the license? Two things. Well, three.
Firstly, please avoid sites that are offering "Premium resources" for free. That site is basically redistributing pirated software. That would be against the Cloud services agreement as it is, and customers found to be breaching those terms could have their subscription cancelled. This is very important but also worth noting that some sites modify code to be malicious in nature.
Second:
It's unlikely the add-on will be compatible with XenForo Cloud (which runs XenForo 2.2).
Thirdly, you don't even need an add-on for this. XenForo supports Q&A forums/threads out of the box.
Ok, thanks for info! No, you do not need to renew your license.
Assuming you want to move an existing site to the Cloud, we will upgrade you to the latest version as part of the process.
The Cloud subscription includes the cost for all XF software (other than branding removal).
