Yes, add-ons and styles can be installed.

Custom images can be uploaded via the ACP.

Templates can be edited.

The only limitation is there is no server access nor access to the files.

The version you buy with the cloud is compatible with this addons <snip> ? Otherwise is there an addons that does the same thing but is it compatible?

My understanding is the addons need to be compatible with xenForo, not that xenForo has to be compatible with addons.

So answers to questions like that are the responsibility of the addon developer.

XenForo offers a core forum software and its own addons. It is responsible for supporting only those.

Two things. Well, three.

Firstly, please avoid sites that are offering "Premium resources" for free. That site is basically redistributing pirated software. That would be against the Cloud services agreement as it is, and customers found to be breaching those terms could have their subscription cancelled. This is very important but also worth noting that some sites modify code to be malicious in nature.

It's unlikely the add-on will be compatible with XenForo Cloud (which runs XenForo 2.2).

Thirdly, you don't even need an add-on for this. XenForo supports Q&A forums/threads out of the box.

No, you do not need to renew your license.

Assuming you want to move an existing site to the Cloud, we will upgrade you to the latest version as part of the process.

The Cloud subscription includes the cost for all XF software (other than branding removal).

Any style that is compatible with XenForo 2.2 will work with XenForo Cloud.

If the style is a commercial style, like this one, you'll need to also ensure you have purchased the relevant license from the author before use.
