Lol, I wasn't allowed to listen to anything except Cliff Richard for most of my childhood (crazy family), and the only concert I've ever been to was a Cliff Richard one, and that was before I was even born!! (My mum went when she was pregnant with me).

When I finally left home properly (not including boarding school) I didn't even know who Madonna was or what she sang roflmao (still got a long way to go in catching up)
