Is it possible that you can additionally develop a tool that allows Xenforo to reset both the data structure on the server and the database to their original state? The files could then be moved to an extra folder - and everything that originally belonged to XenForo (including images and attachments) would then remain in the main directory in the respective subfolders.
Ideally, this tool would also optionally allow only partial uninstallation of the respective AddOns as part of the database cleanup.
For phpBB there was such a thing at that time (not in the depth that individual AddOns could be removed from the DB - but for the file structure).
