XF 1.4 Cleaning up incorrect IP addresses from user profiles

I have recently found that a user welcome add-on I was using seemed to be incorrectly assigning IP addresses from new users to the admin member who was assigned to be sending an automated email.

So what I want to do is cleanse all the bogus IP addresses from that user's ACP profile.

I have very little knowledge about mySql, in fact it scares me a bit messing with the database, can anyone give me some info, tips etc. on how to remove these?

Is it an easy matter or something that needs to be approached with caution.

TIA for any help.

Other than purging all stored IP addresses, there isn't much more you can do.

You should contact the developer of the add-on to advise them of the problem and obtain a possible solution.

There is nothing we can do with regards to third party developers and add-ons.

It is their responsibility to support their products and advise of fixes for bugs introduced by them.

Yes, I agree totally (in most instances) I wasn't trying to imply you should in this case.

I started the thread to find a solution, not to attempt to instigate any action against the developer.
