Charm

Charm 1.5.1

No permission to download
Hello,

I ran into my first problem with this truly fantastic style.

On iOS, and for the top nav links 'Forum', 'Media' (xfmg), 'Members' -- I have to tap twice on them in order to »get there».

I tried this on iPhone and ipad with same result. However, on Android only one tap is required to load these pages.

I wish there is some known way to change this to one tap only...

Thanks
Håkan
Hi, investigating.

Yes, there is a bug there. Going to post the fix here, full-fledged update is postponed.

  1. Open style preferences for Charm.
  2. Find Sidebar
  3. Add position: relative; to misc. CSS.

Worked like a Charm! (Pun intended!) You're awesome, thanks!

Well I followed the explanations given by brogan, but no visual changes.

Hence my request here. :)

You did a mistake in your code. Here is how it is now:

How it should be:

You missed closing quote somewhere in your code.

CyberAP updated Charm with a new update entry:

Biggest update since 1.0!

  • Replaced Login bar animations with stunningly fast new ones. Activated via 'Enable fast animations' option in Charm style properties;
  • Animations are now handled via GSAP library (can improve performance on some devices);
  • Fixed Likes bar incorrect animation;
  • Fixed Quicknav icon, now displays properly across all clients supported;
  • Fixed Login bar eAuth buttons display on small and medium width displays;
  • Fixed bug in Safari 10 when sidebar was not clickable;
  • Changed...

Any example of charm on a web site?
Nothing does this style a better justice than installing it on your own forum. This would take you 2 minutes of your time. That's why there will never be a demo of this style, only screenshots to give you a basic idea of what you'll get.

Ok, that fine. I'm getting ready to move a somewhat big forum that over 20 years old from VB4 to Xenforo.
