XF 1.5 Characters remaining.

When updating your own status you can see characters remaining.
When posting on your own profile you can see characters remaining.
However when posting on another users profile, you cannot see how many characters you have remaining.

Any idea why this is happening suddenly?

The below is when updating status or posting on your own profile. It does not however show when posting on another users profile.

That's because there isn't a limit to characters on profile posts on others' profiles.

The counter only shows for status updates on your own profile.

The limits are 140 characters for status updates, 420 characters for profile posts.
