XF 1.1 Changing members setting/notification

When I switched to XF from whatever free software I had before, we rolled the existing users over, but things which are now default for new members are NOT default for ones that were already existing. Specifically the setting that sends a notification email for posts they have participated in.

My question is, is there a way as the admin to go into these select people and manually change this myself under their preference settings?
