XF 1.5 Changing from http to https, images have http link

I have changed my website and forums to https, but some pages in the forums are shown as not secure because the image links which we put into posts have the http version of the link from before we switched.

My users copy the BB Code given in the Media Gallery and paste it into a post. Since the switch, the BB Code shown starts with https, but before it was http, so it was http links put into old posts.

Should I go into the database and so a mass change from http://www.domain.com to https://www.domain.com?

Does this entail storing those images on the server? That is something we definitely would not want.
