XF 2.1 Changing Domain - best practice

Hello,
can you help me please.
i have to change the domain. but i would like to keep the platform Xenforo like it is, just need to change domain for a fresh new rebranding.

so, i buy the new domain with register.com
i don't think that is sufficent change a few things in the Xenforo admin control panel.
Then, whats next? how can i switch the xenforo license for the new domain, is there a guide line that i reply to my technician please?
