I am not following this user or thread. What happened it is was split because the email notification is "* replied to a thread you are watching at XenForo community.
This was confusing to me, but I worry more about my users.
Can you please change it so it reflects the split? Maybe something simple:
"* replied to a thread you were watching, the post can now be found here."

And/Or add an alert to the new first post (one that looks like the public warning), or, a Notice. "This was split from yada yada..."
