XF 1.4 Captcha of my forum is not working

I just tried to login with my admin account but was unable to since i must have forgot password but when i tried to regenrate password i couldn't as captcha wasn't working.
any solution to it ?

Are you still using reCAPTCHA version 1? Google killed it in March 31. You need to change to reCAPTCHA v2 or disable your CAPTCHA (XenForo supported this in XF 1.5.16a and above)

So you need to upgrade XenForo to the latest version if you haven't already done so yet.
