XF 1.2 Captcha not showing on failed login and lost password

On User Registration I disabled captcha:


Because I already trust StopForumSpam.

But Use CAPTCHA for Lost Password Form and Login Limit Method set to CAPTCHA is not working (captcha is not showing).

Is this normal?
No I need to enable CAPTCHA on user registration in order for it to work with other forum feature?

That option defines the use of the CaptCHA globally. If it's disabled, it won't be used at all - so yes, it needs to be enabled.

I don't want to enable it on registration cause I have 50% mobile phone user's
(using Opera Mini that doesn't support captcha very well)

Use question and answer ones then, they work just as well (if the questions are good enough).
