XF 1.5 lost password - url is being re-written in email, any ideas

So, a user get a password reset link eg https://xxforumxx/lost-password/19/confirm?c= xxxxxxx
Yet if you click on it, or mouse over the path is like http://xxforumxx/c/eJxVjrEOwiAURb-GbjYUCvQNDCbGpYmxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
and changes every time.
Tested various systems to rule out the browser and laptop.

If you copy and paste the visual url in email it works.

Any ideas?
