XF 2.2 Can't save Resources or Media permissions

Ok, newbie here so be gentle
I just bought and installed (in test directory) XF 2.2 and also the Media and Resources add-ons. When I try to make permission changes in either the Resources or Media Add-ons, I get an error message "Oops, something went wrong..."

Any idea what the issue might be? A file permissions not set correctly perhaps?

Press F12 and select the Console tab.

My guess is it will be a 403 error due to a server side security mechanism.

F12 on my iMac just changes to my "widgets" desktop. But I'm sure you're right as I got an email from my server with "ModSecurity: Access denied with code 403...and a whole bunch of other gobbledygook" Said something about an "injection attack?" I'll try to (temporarily) disable that particular ModSec item and see if that helps.

Yep, it was a ModSec rule that was interfering. Ok, well, once I have stuff set I can re-enable that rule.

Turns out one of my ModSec rules thought the server was under a blind injection attack! LOL! (Well, at least I know the Sec rules are doing their job).
