guys excuse my excessive language but I'm just really irritated, I cannot for some effing reason delete a bunch of porn a member spammed my site with that I just recently came across, I perma banned is ass but now I can't figure out why it will not freaking let me remove his damn spam, can someone please help me because I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure the **** out. again sorry for the excessive language I'm just so p oed over the fact it won't let me remove the spam that i can't help it, also I checked my admin permissions and my user permissions and everything is set to allow. so idk wtf is going on.

for some reason I'm still not able to access my moderation tools, and ironically this is a recent issue I've been dealing with this past weak, idk what the heck the problem is, it wasn't doing this to me until the ending of last week, someone please help, I cannot figure out what is causing this to occur.=/

If you can't access any moderation tools, make sure that you're a moderator and that those permissions have been set. If that's correct, use the "analyze permissions" tool to determine how the permissions are being overwritten (such as with a "Never" permission setting).

alright will do, ty mike.^^

That was an exaggeration as I also use it for some things - mainly to do with moderation, etc.

But generally, it shouldn't be used for "regular" members.

Yes, xenforo permission system is a bit complicated but powerful ;)
I don't find it complicated at all, I find it much easier to use than phpBB. They key of course is reading first about how it is intended to be used ie cumulative permissions with a primary user group (Registered) and multiple secondary user groups. The problems usually arise when admins try to use it with their preconceived ideas of how it should work, usually based on other forum software they have used.

I too use Never but like @Brogan it's only for moderation - I have a 'naughty step' group set up so I can quickly add members to who are misbehaving and this puts them on moderation and denies them many forum features. It's the only group I use Never with. I'd never use Never with other groups intended to give cumulative permissions to users.

The only user group on KH-Flare I have Never set on, and it's for everything, is the user group for banned members.
