Can XF convert Invision to Xenforo? Get a quote?

An aquintance of mine would like to stop with Invision and convert to Xenforo. He's using Invision 4.7.x but not yet 4.7.23 for sure. Probably the version before 4.7.23.
I've read 2 thread of the conversion script and it's not 100% as far as I understand.

But for them it's important that all things work fine.

So hence the question. There is an installation service which can be bought. But is it also possible for Xenforo devs or employees to do the conversion from Invision to Xenforo, ofcourse for a payment.
And could we get a quote on this, or in other words, what would the costs be to do this?

If they don't, is there another well trusted party which can do that so things will be converted perfectly?

I posted this in pre-sales because it's important for them to know this before they buy a license.

At the risk of stating the obvious, the Invision functions that aren't supported by XF won't be ported over, or perhaps a cut down version of them at best. They must be prepared for that.

XF does provide better forum functionality though. I've not found anything that can beat it, in fact.

Yes I'm aware of that, but I don't know them all.
I do already know there is something with polls that is not 100% compatible. But polls is not a big issue for them if I'm correct.
Do you know of other functions which aren't supported by XF?

Because I know XF does not only provide a way better forum functionality, but is also way better as for support, and they don't con people out of their license (like they did with me) even if it's against EU laws.
Because I can't change my forum url with them unless I pay the 200 dollar upgrade and support fee. And not allowed to sell it anymore (they changed that around 1,5 year after I bought it) I thought it was MY license.
XF is not behaving that way but is way more honest.

Anyway, that's another story, but all the good things is quite the reason I myself decided years ago to come over to Xenforo.
And now I'm trying to convince an acquaintance that he will be better of with XF. Because at this moment they are looking if and how they will proceed with their forum and the optional change of forum software (aldus due to costs) is present.
They will talk to each other, have a look at the demo and then discuss what to do.

But every thing in Invision function which is not supported or working in XF would be good to know if you or anybody else can provide the known things. The more they know the better.

I know that Pages and Calendar won't work as XF doesn't have those functions. Just look at the various modules that come with Invision and compare with the featureset of XF, which is mostly just the forum part. Any of the developers who contacted you should be able to give you a more detailed reply.

Yup, they screwed me over, too. I bought a license off someone in 2013 when they shut down their forum. I briefly activated it a few years ago to play around with it for the 6 months that it was live. I preferred XF and at that point I could have sold it on and was considering it when they changed the rules and I now have a dead license, can't sell it and would have to buy the product from scratch if I wanted it, no renewal price possible. What they've done is likely illegal, but I have no interest in the product anyway, so not worth the major headache in trying to get any sort of compensation which would most likely involve court action. Got better things to do in life.

LoL, also a reason I choose XF later on, was because of Kier. I had VB in the old times, until 3.8.7 patch 2 or something like that. And then good devs went away after the takeover and things changed the bad way for VB imho. So via SMF and IPB (I really regret that ipb step but was a bit pushed to it by others) I went over to XF and am as happy as with the old pre-VB4 situation. :)
But that's another story.
