Well short of being 100% official we’re just going to call this 99% official. According to a source deep inside Xenforo with first hand knowledge of who, what, when, where and why, Mike Sullivan is out at Xenforo. Our source is reputable, and is easily verified as such with being former staff there from earlier days. (And it’s probably not who you think).

I simply hope this is just another "story". I know how important Mike is for the project, even if the devs are actually taking a break... The only part I worry is: How are they paying the daily bills? They have to live and selling licenses is not enough IMO, taking into factor the large lawsuit fees.

I dont worry about any of it, but it would seems there are at least some partial or fully true statements there.

If nothing else, events eventually force decisions. That's a good thing.

It's pretty safe to say that everything is not honky dory and 1.2 will not be released tomorrow.....see? I'm telepathic.

Personally I don't believe a thing what is posted there. Yes, Mike might work on the side, but does not do this? I do it, all devs do it.... bills need to be paid. If the devs are taking a break as it was stated, it is obvious they have to pay somehow their rent and electricity, no? That does not mean at all Mike left the company.
