Can I sell designs?

Do you guys think that I'm capable of selling my designing services? I was thinking of opening a design company like Audentio, but I'm not sure if my designs are good enough. Can you guys rate them? I've done many more, but the other ones are way worse.

#3 was an admin control panel that I designed for a software company.

So what do you think? And what prices should I do? I'll also offer coding services for a bit extra. I want to offer them cheaper than other companies though, to get business.

And if I do open a business, I'll probably re-design some of those 8 posted above (just to make them look better), and also code them for live previews.

Opinions please!

It's nice seeing you around these parts .

I've missed talking to you over the last couple of months... But you know we've both moved around to different projects. I've seen most of your stuff before, and if you can change xenforo around instead of just changing the colors a bit.. I think you can make some kick-butt themes... Pricing wise, I'm watching this play out, as I really haven't seen the launch of paid xenforo themes yet.

Your designs are fine, having said that some will find them just typical, nothing unique. So... you are not going to be able to please everyone, and it's always work in progress.

Do your thing, the more you experiment the better experience you will have .... Design away and let's see

Most of my designs are for my sites, which I don't want to stick out too much. I will start designing for XF though, and make some nice, stand-out themes. But I'll probably mostly do custom requests if I do anything.

Like all designs nowadays.... spend the time to make an awesome one, then sell it cheap and go for the numbers game for huge sales vs. few sales at a higher price.

RocketTheme really got it right IMHO, being that they create one awesome theme each month, there cheap, and go for bulk numbers. They can then build one theme whilst supporting past themes without too much issue. If XF stays pretty much style stable, then stylers will have more time to concentrate on new designs instead of constant version improvements.

Yes... you could sell your designs though, even if they lack design creativity, you make up for layout creativity.
