Just migrated from phpbb and some of the threads could be arranged better. It's supposed to be a school for teaching smokers how to switch to vaping safely. There are forums with only a couple threads and they would better in other forums.

Not really relevant to the request.

Yes, you can move threads between various forums. You can do it through the moderator menu for each thread or do it in a group.

In your thread list in a specific forum, you should have these check boxes:
1772253108746.webp

You can click these (choosing the threads you want to move) and then the moderator menu will pop up at the bottom of your screen.

1772253183750.webp
After you click "Go" the next menu will pop up asking where you want to move the threads to.

1772253235126.webp

And that's it, the threads will be moved.

You can also use the per-thread options when viewing a thread:

1772253301361.webp

And a similar moving menu will appear, closely matching the one above.

Perfect, thanks!

To clarify for others that may be looking for this solution, this is a more detailed explanation.

I'm the one that set up the board. I know very little about making my own vape juices, so my friend/co-conspirator setup the forums.

He has forums called Welcome to the first day of class, (I renamed that from "Nanny's corner") Help and How to, The vape Workshop School, Dumb questions, ask anything. and the School. The latter have only a couple threads in them. I figure if you're in school, you can ask questions which include help and how-to. There ARE no dumb questions! I understand what he's getting at, but it belongs in the school forum.

That eliminates 5 redundant forums, moves and adds a dozen threads to one forum, so SEO doesn't complain about pages with low content.

It looks cleaner ans smarter!

So where's the option to mark a reply as a solution.

Yes, it has nothing to do with the question you asked, but it's a suggestion, given that your signature contains the old URL, which no longer exists because you moved the forum to the /xf/ folder.

I did not ask a question, i have no signature and I did not move my forum to a different folder - as i am not the OP of this thread as you falsely seem to assume.
