XF 1.5 Can i creat a topic/thread on homepage ?

on homepage it only allow to creat node type as a category, forum, forum link...
Can i creat node as a thread out there (for less click)

Threads can only be created and displayed within nodes, so no, it's not possible.

You could though change the index page route to be a specific forum.
