Could we have a permission Can be ignored set to on by default please?
So that we can turn it off for moderators?
We don't want members being able to ignore moderators.

Forgive me - but it was my understanding that it is accounts marked as "Staff Members" who can't be ignored; not Moderators as such.

Yes, the logic was changed recently so that it is tied to the 'display as staff' function.

Are you saying you want to be able to uncheck that for moderators but members still can't ignore them?

Correct. And there may be other usergroups who admin would like not to be ignored.
And there are reasons why it’s not desirable to display moderators as staff. Like maintaining a separation between volunteer members and paid employees. For legal or internal political reasons.
Makes more sense to tie being unignorable to usergroups or even specific members using the standard permissions system than such a specific setting as display as staff.

Im a bit lost. Is there a way to allow a user to ignore admins and moderators.
