XF 2.0 Can banner load quicker?

Is there a way to make the photo banner seen here https://schollloj.com/index.php load quicker?

That's not default XF functionality so you'd have to ask whoever developed that customisation.

Are you referring to the background image on the header? If so, you'll just need to optimize the image using kraken (or something similar) to reduce the filesize and you'll probably want to crop it as it's currently almost 1.5MB even though you only see about an eighth of the image in the header

No, but that in and of itself would also help page load.

Originally I wanted that to be the full background. I'll tweek it, thank you!
