XF 2.1 Can banned members read their PM's?

I just gave a member a temporary ban. Can they still read their PM's?

I don't think so. Being banned is a banned status that is nothing to do with a banned usergroup. The only reason to have a banned usergroup is in order to style them I believe.I don't have any banned usergroup.

No, I think maybe vbulletin uses one and puts banned users in there automatically.

Correct, the only reason to have a banned group is for styling purposes.

The strikethrough is only for admins/mods.

However CSS would be .username--banned to change if you wanted something different for admins.

Yes, it's a bit confusing. I was thinking of changing the styling which admins see.
