But a question first - Is it really necessary to confirm unwatching a thread?

Is it? I'd say just change the text of the link back to "Watch this thread".

Also need an easy way to unwatch a thread in the watched thread list.:)

    I know, it's two suggestions.

It points to the same place for watch and unwatch, though that could change if need be.

But secondly, the code I put together to do this currently needs the overlay. :)

Ok, don't forget the easy way to unwatch a watched thread in the list "Your watched threads". If that were possible, then I wouldn't have needed to go to the thread to unwatch it in the first place.;):D

Additionally, the text needs to be updated IMO.

    It currently states:
"You are already watching this thread. Use the button below if you would like to stop watching this thread."

Shouldn't the "already" be dropped so it just states:
"You are watching this thread. Use the button below if you would like to stop watching this thread."

    Or even just:
"Use the button below if you would like to stop watching this thread."

I actually think we should have the option for changing if we receive emails or not through the "(Un)Watch thread" button

Hmm....I should have looked further. If you click on "Show all watched threads" at the botton, you get several choices to make changes to the watch list.

    Never mind!:D
