XF 1.5 Browser notifications ?

Is there any way to get browser notifications in Firefox and Chrome with XenForo ?

For example when i browse an IPB forum i'm asked by Firefox if i want to get notifications: https://gyazo.com/eeeb558649059fa544562c3ba4c70101

It would require an add-on or custom development.

So many built-in IPB features requires custom development to get the same thing on XenForo I hope things like that will be added to the future versions

Browser alerts/notifcations seems to be increasing in popularity in recent times. Is anything like this available for Xenforo?
