XF 1.4 Broken Avatars

Recently have come across a problem in which our members and myself are unable to upload an avatar. When you select an image it appears that thing went normally with a confirmation that the image was uploaded successfully but, the field where normally you would see the image name is empty. Only says "no file chosen".

We've made sure that the folders data and internal_data and the folders within are set to 777 but still no luck. Not showing any server error messages at all and just baffled in what else it could be.

I can see that some members have avatars.

Were these uploaded in the normal way?

Has anything changed recently with regards to the installation or server?

The only thing is that we moved to a new server.

Uploaded the XF files via ftp to the new.

The new server is the reason.

Ensure the directories are recursively chmod 0777 and ownership is correct.

Ok, thank you. Will have to get with hoster and see about getting this done.
