XF 1.5 Blocking or Deleting duplicate spam threads

Is there a setting I'm missing that will block duplicate threads and posts from spammer.
Typically we'll see something like attached.

The built in spam tools can be used to put threads of that nature into moderation, so they won't be publicly displayed.

can you elaborate a bit more on this? "home, options, spam management" not seeing anything relevant there.

the few setting recoomedned were checked and we have Sonnb installed. Didn't see anything related to our original question; block duplicate threads and posts

There is nothing built in which will block duplicate threads and posts.

An add-on would be required, if one exists.
