XF 2.2 Block users from sending pm's

i was wondering if there is a way for someone to block certain user(s) from sending him pm.

In the user group permissions you can have a permission for start conversations or receive new.

To deny a certain user or group you would need never if they already have yes in another group. Use that with care as it will override other groups

However if you mean certain users sending one specific user a conversation, then I don’t think that is possible.

The ignore function will prevent that. So if member A is ignoring member B, member B cannot start a conversation with member A.

AFAIK in that case user B actually can start a conversation, but user A won't receive it in their inbox.
