XF 1.5 Block registration from ip range but allow access

On our vBulletin site we had most of the ip ranges that fed us quite a bit of spam blocked from registration only. If a legitimate user showed up and contacted us about being blocked, we could register them by hand.

Am I overlooking something obvious about doing that on XenForo?

We have TPU installed as well as the default spam handler.

This came up for discussion when we started getting large numbers of registrations from Denmark that were posting spam in Chinese.

There isn't an out of the box option that does this.
