While it is already possible to achieve this, it is not straightforward - it would therefor be nice if there was an easy way for Add-ons to optionally also use one upgrade class per version, probably with a convention like
UpgradeXXX class per version, Add-ons unfortunately don't have this luxury built into core - by default all upgrade step methods must be in Setup , so for example XFMG has about 2.700 lines of upgrade code with ~ 80 upgradeXXXStepY methods in Setup.While it is already possible to achieve this, it is not straightforward - it would therefor be nice if there was an easy way for Add-ons to optionally also use one upgrade class per version, probably with a convention like
