Better email validation

Hello,

Since a while I'm looking at the number of valid users going up and down each time we send our weekly newsletter to all forum members.

the number of active users (the total number in the standard stats in the Widget) goes down with up to 400 users. So during the week new users register again and the following week many are falling apart again.

My conclusion is that the reason for this is that people use invalid e-mails and for that reason they get set to not valid users inside Xenforo.

Is there anyone who know more about this and can help sort this out somehow?

I've put a warning text in the registration form under the email entry field emphasising that emails must be valid as they will need to be verified as a second step. That works for me, as if they don't read it, it's probably spam anyway.
