Hi,

By default all new members are placed in the "Members" group.

I would like to restrict new members to what the can do based on post count or likes.

Can I create a "Restricted" group and promote all users with 0 post to it as a secondary group and after say 10 posts, under-promote and remove then from this secondary group?

What strategies do you suggest?

Thanks

Set the restricted permissions on the Registered user group then create promoted user groups and user group promotions based on the criteria.

Hi,

So you suggest a "Trusted" group for members with more than 10 posts. How to I mass change all user with mode that 10 posts to this group?

As I understand, this should be a secondary group ... they will stay in the "Registered" group as primary group.

Thanks

But they should stay in both "Members" and "Trusted" group and all restricted action will be configured in the "Members" group?

The primary user group is always the Registered user group.

Promotions add them to secondary user groups.

Permissions are cumulative - see the guide in my signature.
