You are hiding the cache controls on responsivewide, but they come back on responsivenarrow.

@xfrocks - I have this add on - https://xenforo.com/community/resources/defer-js.2972/ will your add on be the same? Better? More features?

Probably the same. I haven't tested the other add-on though but looks like both add-ons do it similarly.

Defer JS is all about javascript so that specific feature is the same. Other than that, this add-on does page caching and generate css as static files.

Well if it does the same with JS PLUS additional benefits for speed, I will purchase it and give it a go. Would I need to delete the old JS add on - or can I just disable it?

I would say yes, it has js AND more features for improved speed. And no, you don't need to delete the other add-on, just disable it should be enough.

Notices work fine for me with Defer JS on. Maybe your page is cached for guest and the newly created notices hasn't been rendered yet?

I didn't create any new notices.
Looks at any pages on my forum.
Notices will show for a single seconds before the page fully loads but after that it will disappear instantly.

Maybe ngx_pagespeed?
But ngx_pagespeed defer js filter is disabled my configuration.

The requests number and the page size are not equal between those tests so it's hard to compare

It allows admin to control how long a specific page is cache (default time is in options page). The default should be good enough for most site.
