XF 2.1 BB Tables don't render as Tables

BB Table code does not render as a Table when posted. However, if you use the Table Icon in the post editor, you do see an actual table in which to enter the table data. But then when saved all you see in the BB Table code itself.

This could be a myriad of things really. Could be an outdated style. Could be a conflicting custom BB code. Could be an add-on that added tables as well.

Beyond that we'd need some specifics, such as reproducible steps for us to attempt to replicate the problem, or a URL which demonstrates the problem, or a screenshot/video etc.

This is a fresh install of 2.1.0 (yesterday). I click on the Table icon, set the dimensions, enter the table info into the table template, hit save. What I see is the [ table ] [ TR ] [ TD] a [/TD] ... BB code, not a rendered table. (I've added spaces in my example BB code so it it won't try to render it as a table.)

The server is running PHP 5.7.

Only Resource and Media Add-Ons installed.

All other BB codes work fine.

And clearly it works here -

I can't quite fathom what would be causing this.

Are you able to submit a ticket, and provide us with an admin login so we can take a closer look?

Yeah, a real head scratcher. I was a to fix this by going into Admin Custom BB Codes and disabling Table.

I'm guessing the Custom BB Table Code defined here must be overriding the standard BB Table Code

Could be a conflicting custom BB code.

Was this something you also had in vBulletin? Or something you added yourself in XF?

We may just need to not import that particular custom BB code (but I believe we do that already).

Found it. They were imported from VB. I wasn't aware that any custom BB codes were defined there.

Thanks for being so responsive. My experience here so far reinforces my decision to ditch VB in favor of XF.
