XF 2.2 Bb Code stoped working

I have no idea what's going on. There no errors in the server console. The bb code editor is just greyed out and the buttons don't work. I am stumped

That button toggles between rich and plain text mode. You can remove it in the BB Code button manager in the control panel, but it can be pretty useful sometimes.

Rich text is the WYSIWYG editor, showing live formatting. Under the hood, all formatting is stored using BB code (for example bold text is stored as [B]Bold text[/B]). That button displays the plain text (raw BB code) instead of rich text (live formatting), which can be helpful for making certain formatting adjustments manually.
