XF 2.0 Batch Update Posts?

I see a "Batch update threads" option in the ACP, but I don't see an option anywhere to do the same for posts. Is such a tool hiding somewhere else or... ?

There is no Batch Update Posts. What specifically are you trying to achieve? It may be possible to do whatever it is with standard moderation tools.

Batch update threads will only change, well, threads. If you wanted to edit/remove all of a user or users' posts as well, you can't do that at all through the Batch update threads tool, because it only changes the threads made by a certain user or users you specify and not all their posts.

You can use Spam Cleaner option to delete all threads of a user. But I totally agree that this option is highly desirable, and hence we have this suggestion open for a long time

Batch Posts Update

We have Batch Threads Update, but we don't have Batch Posts Update yet. So I would like to request this feature. What do I use it for: Search posts with specific keywords then Delete/moderate/update Hard-delete soft-deleted posts Delete specific/all posts of an user ... Thank you.

You can use Spam Cleaner option to delete all threads of a user.

Spam Cleaner breaks MySQL if you throw more than 2,000 posts at it. Besides, it doesn't have the ability to search exactly what you need to delete. "Batch Thread Update" is a lot more robust than spam cleaner. We need the exact same thing, but for posts.
