I run a coupe college sports sites. One site has had enough posts on various forums about hockey to justify a hockey forum.

Can I do a search of all forums for "hockey" and move the results to te hockey forum all at once?

Bottom line: What is the easiest way to move the posts?

Inline moderation isn't available from the search results page.

The Batch Update Threads function can't filter on message content, but it can on keywords in the title.

Unfortunately, if the keywords aren't in the title, you would need to do this manually by selecting all of the threads and then moving them all at once.

You can do that within the Admin > Applications > Batch Update Threads.
As @Brogan says, the search only looks at the thread titles. Once the search is done, you can move some or all of the threads,
