XF 2.0 Banner Wrapping

I have followed the steps in the tutorial below and to no avail, I cannot figure out how to achieve the wrapping effect in xenforo 2.0.2 with the custom code in extra.less

Is there something I need to add in order to get the wrapped look? It currently looks like the attached file below.
